Critter Chronicles: Eclipse

  • http-chronicle-northcoastnow-com-wp-content-uploads-2013-09-Eclipse-hounds-237x300

Eclipse was saved from a dog pound in Southern Ohio.  She was turned in by people who would not take the time to train her.  Eclipse came in with a blank slate but has already learned how to "sit" and "down." She is very eager to please and is a quick learner.  Eclipse needs leash work but with a little time invested, she will have that down pat soon.  She gets along with other dogs, is curious but okay with cats and is good with children.  We do recommend children be at least 10 due to her size and energy level.  Eclipse is also housetrained and is learning that riding in the car is a good and enjoyable time.  She is good in the car but was a little hesitant at first.  Eclipse would prefer a fenced in yard to run and play in and she will need a daily walk to burn some energy.  A complimentary training session is included with her adoption to transition her to be the great dog she always wanted to be but no one showed her how.
