Critter Chronicles: Rex

  • http-chronicle-northcoastnow-com-files-2013-05-Rex-apl-300x200

Look at Rex and you will fall in love instantly. Rex was surrendered to the shelter because his family moved and couldn't take him with them. Rex was recently trained at the Grafton Correctional Facility and adopted. His family brought him back to the shelter because he was too active for them and he was crated for sometimes eight to 10 hours a day. Rex knows his basic commands and obedience. He will thrive with a savvy owner He is house-trained. This fellow is a great car rider and is fine with other dogs and cats. He has a high-energy level and can jump the fence at Friendship. Rex would love to be a member of an active family or someone's running partner. He needs lots of exercise and a fenced-in yard wouldn't hurt either.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please, bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.
