Police believe drugs were a factor in a rollover crash Friday morning that killed a Lorain man.

According to a Lorain police report, Kyle Cummings, 29, of Lorain, was driving a 2005 Honda Accord west on Crehore Street around 7:35 a.m. Friday. Police say Cummings lost control, and the Accord went off the left side of the road, hitting a mailbox and then a fire hydrant before landing on its roof in the yard of a home.

Cummings, who was not wearing his seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation, and anyone with information is asked to call Officer Robert Hargreaves of the traffic bureau at (440) 204-2115.
