AVON — No one was injured when a teenager allegedly shot at a house in the Highland Park subdivision Friday evening.
According to a news release from Avon police, officers were called to the area of Haverford Place and South Park Drive about 9:30 p.m. for shots fired. A house in the 36000 block of Haverford Place had been hit.
Following an investigation, police arrested a 16-year-old from Avon Lake, who was charged with improperly discharging a firearm at or into a habitation, a second degree felony. The shooting remains under investigation and additional charges may be forthcoming.
