A man believed to have robbed the PNC Bank in North Ridgeville is currently in Cleveland police custody.
According to a news release from North Ridgeville police, Robert L. Shue, 39, was arrested by Cleveland police early this morning on an outstanding warrant. The news release says that Shue was identified as the robber by someone who saw photos from the surveillance video at the bank branch on Center Ridge Road.
A robber walked into the bank around 1:05 p.m. Tuesday and handed a note to the teller indicating he was robbing the bank. He then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
The statement said that following his release from Cleveland custody, Shue, who has no fixed address but ties to Cleveland and North Ridgeville, will be taken to the Lorain County Jail.
