NORTH RIDGEVILLE — A man was in custody Thursday afternoon after a police chase from Olmsted Township to North Ridgeville.
North Ridgeville Police Chief Michael Freeman said Olmsted Township police stopped a driver there for outstanding warrants. The driver drove away, and North Ridgeville police assisted in the chase on Bainbridge Road.
The driver crashed near the roundabout at state Route 83 and Mills Road and ran into a wooded area, leaving the car behind. Officers found the suspect with the help of police dogs.
