NORTH RIDGEVILLE – A 39-year-old Grafton man is accused of paying someone to have another man murdered.

Police have arrested Seljami Idrizi, of Royalton Road, Grafton, for conspiracy to commit aggravated murder. Authorities say Idrizi was taken into custody after giving an undisclosed amount of money to a “confidential informant” believing that the intended target – a 43-year old North Ridgeville man -- had been murdered.

According to court records, Idrizi was arraigned in Elyria Municipal Court this morning. The judge ordered him to surrender his U.S. passport and his Serbian passport as a condition of his bond. Idrizi was given a GPS monitoring device and told not to leave Lorain County.

Idrizi is scheduled for a preliminary hearing at 2 p.m. Wednesday.
