An Elyria woman was arrested by Westlake police Tuesday morning on a charge of felony theft, but released that afternoon.

Kortney Davis, 31, was charged with felony theft in connection with a March 23 incident at Sunglass Hut in Crocker Park. However, according to a release from Westlake police, she showed tattoos on her hands that could not be seen in surveillance video of the incident, when more than $1,600 worth of merchandise was stolen.

Police are still looking for a suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call Westlake police at 440-871-3311.
