ELYRIA – Police arrested two women for solicitation after they say they determined they were operating a brothel out of a local business.

Police Capt. Chris Costantino said the department was made aware of the possible brothel operating out of the “Rejuvenation Spa,” located at 445 Griswold Road, Suite C.

“We were concerned because in the ad the girls appear very young, and we were worried about human trafficking,” Costantino said.

On March 16, an undercover officer made an appointment at 7:48 p.m. for a one-hour massage for $50. After the one-hour service, the woman informed the officer that for an extra $100 she would be willing to perform sexual acts, Costantino said.

At that time, the department executed a search warrant for the establishment.

Both women stated they were originally from New York.

Ping Liu, 61, and Yang Linong, 52, each were charged with solicitation. Both women were being held in the Lorain County Jail.

“Brothels and prostitution rings bring additional issues along with them and we want to send a strong message that it will not be tolerated,” Costantino said.
