ELYRIA — A 23-year-old Elyria man has been indicted on an involuntary manslaughter charge for allegedly selling heroin to a man who fatally overdosed earlier this year.
Devan Wilkerson Jr. also is charged with corrupting another with drugs and drug trafficking, according to the indictment handed down this week.
Wilkerson was arrested after police linked him to the heroin that caused Brian Baldwin to overdose at an Elyria restaurant Jan. 12.
Elyria police have said they found evidence at Baldwin’s residence linking Wilkerson to the overdose.
Wilkerson is being held at the Lorain County Jail and is scheduled to be arraigned next week.
