Reward offered for information on Lorain County fugitive

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information leading to the capture of a Lorain County fugitive.

David Kalt, 24, is wanted by the U.S. Marshals and Lorain County Sheriff for failing to register as a sex offender, according to a release from the task force. Kalt originally was charged by the Lorain police with unlawful sexual contact with a minor in March 2013.

Kalt is a white male about 6 feet tall and weighing 135 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He is believed to be hiding somewhere in Lorain or Cleveland Heights, according to the release. He has a previous address near the 3400 block of Superior Park Drive in Cleveland Heights.

Anyone with information in reference to Kalt is asked to contact the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force at 1-866-4WANTED or text keyword WANTED and tip to 847411 (tip411). Tipsters can remain anonymous and reward money is available.
