LORAIN — A Lorain man is accused of beating his girlfriend.
Pamela Albes said Eito Moon accused her of talking to several men while they were in Elyria and repeatedly hit her as they drove home early Saturday, according to a police report.
When they arrived at their home in the 900 block of West 22nd Street, Albes said the violence continued. Police said Albes had a 3- to 5-inch cut on her forehead and was covered in blood when they arrived at the home about 2:20 a.m., Albes said Moon struck her in the head with a lamp.
Albes was unsure if she passed out before calling police.
Moon, 43, was charged with felonious assault and domestic violence. Moon’s criminal record includes convictions for complicity to aggravated murder and carrying a weapon under disability and drug abuse.
Moon was being held without bond at the Lorain County Jail on Sunday night and is due in Lorain Municipal Court today.
