About 1:15 a.m. Thursday, police responded to an alarm at A&C Tire, 39475 Center Ridge Road.
Once there, they found that someone had forced entry through the auto repair shop and had broken a hole in the drywall of the shop’s bathroom. The suspect then climbed through the hole into A&C Foodmart on the other side and stole an unknown amount of money from a coin machine in the store, according to police.
Police arrested the 52-year-old man at his home in Elyria and took him to North Ridgeville City Jail, where he was being held Thursday.
