ELYRIA — An Elyria man has been added to a list of the eight most-wanted sex offenders in northern Ohio.
William Marcum, 25, was one of four new offenders added to the “Agonizing 8” list of sex-offender fugitives released by the Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force.
Marcum was accused in October of having sexual conduct with a 15-year-old girl, according to Elyria police Capt. Chris Costantino. U.S. marshals believe Marcum is in or around Elyria.
Three other people were recently added with Marcum. Jason Sumner from Cleveland is wanted for failing to notify a change of address after he was convicted of sexual abuse in New York; Sherman Jackson from Youngstown is wanted for rape and multiple counts of molestation; Antonio Farmer from Canton is wanted for failing to notify a change of address after moving from Massachusetts, where he was convicted of rape and sexual abuse.
All of the eight sex offenders are considered dangerous. If anyone has information on their whereabouts, they should call (866)4WANTED or text WANTED to TIP411.
Tips may remain anonymous and cash rewards are available for information leading to the arrest of any fugitives on the list.
