Sandstone Quarries
If you were wondering where this picture was taken; it’s the beautiful sandstone quarries. There are several different sights you can see and some of them are in my community, South Amherst. The whole world gets their sandstone from this one place in Ohio. What is so historical about it is that it has been around since the beginning of time. John Baldwin purchased and paid just the quarries in 1828 $600. That’s the significance of my picture.
