It didn’t take police long to find the men responsible for the killing of Willie Fisher, whose body was found behind an East Avenue shopping plaza on July 6. Three men were arrested in the following days in a murder-for-hire plot in which Bruce Arnoff, 59, of Solon, paid John Sullivan, 30, and Patrick Gall, 19, both of East Cleveland, $500 to kill Fisher.

Gall exercised his right to a speedy trial and was found guilty of aggravated murder for his role in the slaying of Fisher after a weeklong trial in November. A few weeks later, Arnoff and Sullivan pleaded guilty to charges for their roles, as well.

All three were sentenced to life in prison. Gall will be eligible for parole after serving 28 years, Arnoff after serving 33 years and Sullivan, who police have said was the one who shot Fisher, will be eligible for parole after serving 39 years.
