LORAIN — A 28-year-old man is dead after a fight with his girlfriend at a Euclid Avenue residence.
Police have a 32-year-old woman is custody. Angela Davidson is in Lorain County Jail on a murder charge.
Police said that at 10:23 p.m. Friday they received a call of a felonious assault taking place at 1408 Euclid Ave.
When officers arrived, they found Kelby Jackson dead in the home.
Jackson allegedly was fighting with Davidson when he was fatally injured.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Lorain County court records document a criminal history for both Davidson and Jackson.
Davidson was indicted on felony drug charges in March for possession of cocaine. Last month, she pleaded guilty and enrolled in the court’s intervention in lieu of conviction program that came with a stipulation of two years in rehab.
Davidson also has numerous misdemeanor charges through Lorain Municipal Court including a 2012 conviction for endangering children.
Jackson has a history of domestic violence including a 2011 misdemeanor conviction and 2015 felony conviction for which he received probation. In 2006, Jackson was indicted for aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary and sentenced to three years in prison.
