Tobacco use is the largest preventable cause of disease and early death in the US, yet people still use tobacco.

According the National Institute of Health, tobacco users can save time, live longer and improve their sex life by doing one thing—quitting tobacco use.

49,000 adults currently smoke cigarettes in Lorain County, according to the 2011 Lorain County Health Assessment. This is enough people to fill the All Pro Freight

    Stadium nearly 10 times over!

If you’ve been thinking about quitting and want to find out how, call 1-800-Quit-Now. Smokers who want to quit are much more successful when they take advantage of services such as the Ohio Tobacco Quit Line. There is nothing to lose by trying—except the habit of using tobacco.

November 15, 2012 is a day for smokers! Each year the Great American Smokeout, coordinated by the American Cancer Society, encourages smokers to use the day to make a plan to quit tobacco use, or plan in advance and quit smoking that day.

Remember, you don’t have to quit alone. Call 1-800-Quit-Now to get started!
