Obituary
Hieronymus Robert Bueck, 41, of Avon Lake, passed away suddenly due to an accident in Avon, Friday, October 10, 2008. Robert was born January 18, 1967 in Dothan, Alabama and moved to Avon Lake from Olmsted Falls 13 years ago.
He was employed as the computer network administrator for the Avon School system for the past eight years and had previously worked for Vantage Financial Security. He was a graduate of Ohio State University and was working on his master’s degree and had additional training and business certification with Microsoft. He was also a self-employed computer consultant and a partial owner with his brother of "Rest in the Mountains" in Franklin, North Carolina. Robert was his own self-proclaimed traveling "geek squad" able to repair or help others program computers, televisions, video recorders, i-pods, etc.
He was a member of Lake Shore United Methodist Church, Avon Lake. He was also an Eagle Scout and a Boy Scout Leader with troop #338 in Avon Lake and had a great interest in his children’s activities and was a great dad. Robert also had a passion for sailing and reading.
Mr. Bueck is survived by his wife of 17 years, Jennifer (nee Rhee); daughter, McKenzie and son, Hieronymus "Ethan", both at home; his parents, Hieronymus Clell and Marianne (nee Kohl) Bueck of Franklin, North Carolina; brother, John (wife Denise) of Franklin, North Carolina; and sister, Jennifer Bueck of Greenville, North Carolina. He was also the son-in-law of Sang and Susan Rhee of North Royalton; and brother-in-law of Margaret Rhee of Akron, and Edward Rhee of Berea; and an uncle of six.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hieronymus and Clell Bueck.
Memorial visitation will be held at the Busch Funeral Home, 163 Avon-Belden Rd., Avon Lake from 2 to 5 and 6 to 9 P.M. Monday, October 13, 2008. A memorial service will be held at the Lake Shore United Methodist Church, 33119 Electric Blvd., Avon Lake, Tuesday, October 14 at 10 A.M. Rev. Nancy Manner will officiate. Cremation will be handled by Busch Crematory.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be forwarded to the Children of Robert Bueck Memorial Fund, in care of Key Bank, 32000 Walker Rd., Avon Lake, OH 44012 (or any Key Bank).
