The MSA-Oswego Wing Challenge Series event that was set for tonight at Sandusky Speedway has been postponed due to weather. It has been reset for Saturday, Sept. 27.

6-12, free to age 5 and younger and those with a military ID.

Bus races at LCS
Kids are never too thrilled to see school buses, however, seeing them race on the figure-8 track tonight at Lorain County Speedway could be a different story.
A penny toss will round out the “Kids Night Out.”
E-Mods, Limited Late Models, Street Stocks, Chargers and The Road Course Warriors will compete. Gates open at 3 p.m., qualifying at 5 and racing at 7. Admission is $10, $5 ages 6-12, free to age 5 and younger. Call (440) 986-7223.
Lorain County Speedway will be idle next Saturday so that drivers and fans can enjoy the Sandusky Speedway Cavalcade. Racing resumes with the S.T.A.R.Z. Hall of Fame Night on Sept. 27. Competition that night will include all four divisions, plus The Road Course Warriors.
The Midwest Supermodified Association will come in Oct. 4, then again Oct. 18 for a show that was just added to the schedule.
• Jim Foose Jr. of Parma Heights is normally behind the camera for his father, taping all of the action at LCS for Speedway Action Images. Jim will be on the other end of the camera tonight, however, as he gets into a Charger division car. Foose Jr. had been a regular competitor in the Spectator Stock division at LCS several years back.
Mopars at the Summit
The 11th Annual Mopar World Finals started Friday and wraps up Sunday at Summit Motorsports Park. The world’s largest all-Mopar drag race will feature the quick 32, legal Hemi Superstock shootout, Mopar showcar world finals, a car corral and swap meet.
Admission is $20 tonight and $15 Sunday. Admission is free to ages 12 and younger. Gates open at 8 a.m. daily. There is free parking and free pit access. Call (419) 668-5555 or (614) 835-0426.
The 7th Annual Blue Suede Cruise drew 230 race cars and close to 2,000 show cars last weekend despite less-than-ideal weather. The “Cruise” returns next year on Sept. 11-13.
Fremont hosts title
The Sunoco American Late Model 2008 series championship will be decided tonight at Fremont Speedway.
The traveling ALMS has not visited Fremont Speedway since 2006. The 305 Sprints and Dirt Trucks will also compete with gates opening at 4 p.m. and racing at 7. Call (419) 333-0478.
