Tuesday, Sept. 2
8 a.m. – 1000 block W. 11th St., computer, clothing and Xbox 360 stolen.
9:06 a.m. – 1000 block Tower Blvd., DVDs stolen.
10:30 a.m. – 3000 block Fulmer Road, $1,980 was fraudulently removed from a bank account.
10:39 a.m. – 1000 block W. 17th St., copper pipe stolen.
Noon – 300 block W. 14th St., car window smashed and radio stolen.
12:12 p.m. – 2800 block Oakwood Ave., copper wires stolen.
1 p.m. – 3500 block Pin Oak Drive, Ivan L. Brooks, 24, Lorain, charged with resisting arrest and obstructing official business.
2:16 p.m. – 1900 block E. 28th St., electric meter and copper wire stolen.
2:51 p.m. – 1900 block E. 29th St., a woman said a teen threatened her son.
3:09 p.m. – Lorain Ruled Die Products, Broadway, copper piping stolen.
3:23 p.m. – 1200 block W. 37th St., $700 Social Security check stolen.
4 p.m. – 2100 block E. 42nd St., a 15-year-old boy was cited with a walking-in-the-street charge after police broke up a large fight. A report said the boy was one of 40 to 50 juveniles walking in the road.

Elyria police
Wednesday, Sept. 3
8:29 a.m. – 400 block Courtland St., burglary. Nintendo Wii stolen.
11:30 a.m. – JCPenney, Midway Mall, Luis Velez, 33, Elyria, charged with theft.
12:12 p.m. – 1000 block Melvyn Lane, burglary. Medications stolen.
3 p.m. – Adams Street and Morgan Avenue, a woman said another woman assaulted her while her car was stopped at a stop sign.
7 p.m. – EMH Regional Medical Center, East River Street, a nurse said a patient threatened her after his surgery was canceled.
7:33 p.m. – 1200 block East River St., a man said someone tried to scam his mother into wiring $4,500 to Canada.

it’s about time the police do somthing about all the people walking in the streets when we have side walks
