North Ridgeville blotter: Sept. 4, 2008

Sunday, Aug. 24

10:43 p.m. — 33000 block Chestnut Ridge Road. Twelve people cited for underage consumption after police investigate a noise complaint. 

3:40 p.m. — Stearns Road, Interstate-480 area in North Olmsted. Alan M. Simonitis, 37, of Sagamore Hills charged with speeding and fleeing after he pulled away from North Ridgeville police who initially stopped him for doing 94 mph in a 65-mph zone on a motorcycle.

Monday, Aug. 25

7:30 a.m. — 36690 Sugar Ridge Road. Employees of Homenik Door Co. report $6,172 in tools including an air compressor taken overnight from a company vehicle.

Saturday, Aug. 30

6:56 p.m. — 37500 Center Ridge Road. Chad W. McCall, 17, of Elyria charged with underage consumption while at All-American Sports Center.

7:14 a.m. — 34865 Clear Creek Drive. Jason M. Milan, 25, of North Ridgeville charged with disorderly conduct by intoxication, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana after resident reports a man sleeping in her driveway. Milam had walked away from the home before police arrived but was located nearby a short time later.  

Sunday, Aug. 31

2:47 a.m. — 39462 Center Ridge Road. Teaun R. Bush, 20, of Elyria is charged with driving under the influence and driving under suspension after being observed by police in the Roca Bar parking lot.

Monday, Sept. 1

11:37 p.m. — 32390 Lorain Road. Michael E. Janik, 20, of North Ridgeville charged with reckless operation after police observe his vehicle driving erratically in a gas station parking lot.

1:47 a.m. — 32390 Lorain Road. Terrence C. Dorr, 29, of Cleveland charged with assault after manager of Sheetz gas station tells police he acted belligerently in the store and spat in her face. Dorr fled the store but was apprehended by police a short time later on I-480.
