Beulah Marie Hollen

Obituary

Beulah Marie Hollen (nee Wisman), 87, of Lorain, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at Allen Memorial Hospital in Oberlin Tuesday, September 2, 2008. She was born in Greenwood, West Virginia on May 4, 1921 and had been a resident of Lorain for 56 years.

Beulah was an antique dealer with a shop in "Long Long Ago" in Avon. She occasionally attended Lorain Baptist Church. She was an avid archer. She enjoyed buying, selling and collecting antiques, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her son, Pastor Rodney Lee Hollen (Joyce) of Elyria; grandchildren, Mark Hollen (Kellie) of Florida and Lora Clowers of Lorain; great-granddaughter, Iszabella; sister-in-law, Catherine Wisman of Clarksburg West Virginia; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hartsel Lee Hollen; brothers, Glenn Wisman and Leroy Wisman; and parents, George and Louella (nee Brookover) Wisman.

Friends may call Friday, September 5, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. at Wyers Funeral Chapel, 2900 North Ridge Road, Sheffield Township. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 6, 2008 at 1 P.M. at Lorain Baptist Church, 3640 Palm Ave., Lorain, where friends will be received one half  hour prior to service. The Rev. Guy Morton will officiate. Burial will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
