Janet M. Wilkinson

Obituary

Janet  M. Wilkinson (nee Ballou), 58, of North Ridgeville, died Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at her home, following a long illness. She was born November 15, 1949 in Cleveland and grew up in Parma. She had resided in North Ridgeville the past 32 years having moved from Rocky River.

Mrs. Wilkinson worked at the Lutheran Home in Westlake as the Activities Director for 15 years until retiring this past May.

She was a member of the Red Hats Society and the Lakeside Girls. She enjoyed doing crafts, crocheting, riding her motorcycle and spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband of 39 years, Daniel T. Wilkinson, Sr.; four daughters, Darlene (Will) Wilke of Elyria, Diane (Jim) Ennis of North Ridgeville, Danielle Wilkinson of North Ridgeville, Holly Wilkinson of North Ridgeville; son, Daniel T Wilkinson, Jr. (Lauren nee Krutowskis) of North Ridgeville; 11 grandchildren; two step- grandchildren;  four brothers, David (Sharon) Ballou of El Cajon, California, James (Pat) Ballou of North Ridgeville, Allen (Becky) Ballou of Rootstown, Edward (Sue) Ballou of Parma.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Harriette Ballou.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M., Thursday, August 28, 2008 at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville. A Prayer service will be held at 10 A.M., Friday, August 29, 2008 in the Funeral Home, followed by an 11 A.M. service at North Olmsted Evangelical Friends Church, 5665 Great Northern Blvd. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to National Breast Cancer Foundation, 2600 Network Blvd., Suite 300, Frisco TX 75034.

To Danielle and her family may god give you strength for for what u have to go through in this time of sadness..I am very sorry for your lost..But I know heaven just recieved a beautiful angel..god bless u and your family..
