Obituary
Isabelle Hill (nee Lee), 87, of Lorain, passed away Monday evening, August 18, 2008 at Lake Pointe Health Center, following a lengthy illness. She was born September 8, 1920 in Lorain and had been a lifelong resident.
She worked at National Tube and the Goodwill Industries in Lorain for several years and was a member of the Elks Club. She enjoyed cooking and playing bingo.
She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Marvel Jones Jamerson and son-in-law, Wentworth Jamerson of Lorain; a step-daughter, Patricia Stiles Morris of Elyria; grandchildren, Vickie Adams Ryan of Columbus, Brenda Adams Weaks, Ronald Adams, Keenan Adams, Dionne Adams, Stephanie Jones Ricks, Marion "Poko" Jamerson, and Brandy Jamerson, all of Lorain, and Kyle "Keithy" Adams of Phoenix, Arizona; 28 great-grandchildren; 36 great-great grandchildren; a niece, Rosalind Lee Brewster of Cleveland; nephews, Charles "Chucky" Lee and Gregory Lee of Cleveland; cousin, Louise Parker of Lorain; and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her late husband, Samuel Hill; her first husband, William "Buck" Jones; parents, Arthur and Mamie Lee; and a brother, Pete Lee.
Friends may call Monday, August 25, 2008 from 11 A.M. until time of funeral services at 12 Noon at Original Glorious Apostolic Church, 995 Foster Ave., in Elyria. Pastor Doris Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Lorain. Arrangements entrusted to Brown-Robinson Funeral Home, 2652 Broadway Ave., Lorain, (440) 244-1831.
