Sunday, July 20
12:10 p.m. — 7030 Fairacres Road. Police responding to report of a teen assaulting his mother and brother. Police find the suspect at a relative’s house. Patrick J. Ross, 17, charged with two counts of domestic violence and one count of underage consumption.
9:30 a.m. — 9494 Bender Road. Police making a routine traffic stop are unable to get a motorist to pull over for a distance of more than a mile. Jacob T. Drost of Amherst is charged with marked lanes and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle.
8:40 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. — Several reports of vandalism reported in Carolyn Drive-Opal Street area. Reports said vandals spray-painted vehicles parked in driveways and on streets. A privacy fence also was defaced.
5:49 a.m. — 32390 Lorain Road. Edward J. Yandura charged with operating a vehicle intoxicated in the parking lot of the Sheetz station.
Friday, July 18
3:29 a.m. – Police patroling state Route 10 between Root Road and state Route 83 clock a westbound vehicle traveling at 89 mph in a 65 mph zone. Police give chase but car does not stop. Driver finally loses control at Grafton Road near entrance ramp to Route 10. Matthew E. Disbennett of Litchfield is charged with speeding, reckless operation and failure to comply with an order of a police officer.
Wednesday, July 16
7:32 p.m. — 6860 state Route 83. Resident reports his 2006 Black Yamaha R6 motorcycle stolen from an unlocked garage.
Saturday, July 12
5:55 a.m. — 32390 Lorain Road. Shoplifter takes six-pack of beer from the Sheetz station without paying for it. A video surveillance camera identifies suspected theft as Justin Carrasquillo of Avon, who is charged with petty theft.
