Ohio kids in car, mom drinking; she’s convicted
Associated Press
PAINESVILLE, Ohio (AP) — A jury in northeast Ohio has convicted a woman who left her two children in an unlocked, running car for four hours while she drank at a bar and left with a man.
Forty-two-year-old Kimberly Cartulla of
Police said Cartulla left her 9- and 6-year-olds in her car while she went to a bar last November. A bar employee closing up found the car running without the heat on and called police.
The children are being cared for by a family member.
Defense attorney Barry Sweet says there was no substantial risk to the children because his client didn’t drink and drive.

“Defense attorney Barry Sweet says there was no substantial risk to the children because his client didn’t drink and drive”
WHAT A SCHMUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No substantial risk to the kids because this moron didn’t actually get behind the wheel and drive?
In November …… car left running, AND no heat on? The risk of FREEZING TO DEATH isn’t a substantial risk? Not to mention a billion other things that could have happened???
The bar association needs to revoke his license just based on his stupid comment. You can’t defend someone who puts drinking and a man BEFORE HER OWN CHILDREN!!!!!!!!!
The attorney is probably screwing the client — hence the reason why he said such an IGNORANT comment.
DUH!!

“Defense attorney Barry Sweet says there was no substantial risk to the children because his client didn’t drink and drive” Proof attorneys have no brains. Ever hear of heat exhaustion, suffocation, hypothermia, or even criminal activity or kidnapping? I’m not sure who is more stupid, this worthless mother, or this worthless attorney.

The defense attorney knew he was grabbing at straws, when he presented his miserable excuses for his p.o.s. client.
He’s paid to say something…
…but that doesn’t mean he has to believe it.
**anyone think O.J.’s defense team believes he’s innocent?**
