Obituary
Ruth Lenola Heiden, 99, of Pittsfield Twp., passed away Thursday, July 10, 2008 at Allen Community hospital, after a short illness. She was a lifelong resident of Pittsfield.
Ruth was a member of the Pittsfield Community Church, and Farm Womens club in Pittsfield and Russia Twp. She was a 1927 graduate of Wellington High School. Ruth was also a member of Candle Wick and sewing clubs.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth Heiden of Wellington; daughter, Jeanne Stanley of Spencer; brother, Lester Sheffield of Elyria; sister, Alma Hanson of Wellington; six grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-granchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl H. Heiden; parents, Fred and Lulu (nee Pickworth) Sheffield; brother, Henry Sheffield.
Visitation will be Monday, July 14, 2008 from 10 A.M. until the time of service at 11 A.M. in the Cowling Funeral Home, 228 S. Main St., Oberlin. Pastor Kenneth L. Gerhardt of the Pittsfield Community Church will officiate. Interment will be at East Pittsfield Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Pittsfield Community Church.
