Obituary
Richard Paul Snider, 57, of LaGrange, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, May 2, 2008 in Trumbull County of an apparent heart attack. He was born September 13, 1950 in Lorain. He lived in the Lorain County area all his life.
He served in the National Guard in the 112th Engineer Battalion in Lorain for several years. He was a truck driver for Chapin Trucking for five years.
Mr. Snider was a member of LaGrange Engine Club and enjoyed antique tractors and working on his Wellington farm.
He is survived by daughters, Rosemary (Daniel) Ortiz of Grafton; Rebecca (Christopher) Rosecrans of Sullivan; six grandchildren, Armand, Brendan, Ophelia, Ronan, Isadora, Arabella; sister, Sharon (Jack) Kuchenrither of North Ridgeville; brothers, Earl (Cheryl) Snider, Wisconsin, Mark Snider of Oberlin; and close friend, Barb St. Clair of Elyria.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Donna Snider; and several aunts and uncles.
Friends may call Thursday, May 8, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. in the Blackburn-Duke Funeral Home, 1021 Main Street, Grafton. Funeral services will be Friday, May 9, 2008 at 10:30 A.M. at the funeral home. The Rev. Ralph Krall, Pastor of LaGrange United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Birmingham Cemetery in Birmingham Township.
