U.S. Rep. McDermott pays $1 million to Rep. Boehner

     WASHINGTON — U.S. Rep. Jim McDermott has paid more than $1 million to House Minority Leader John Boehner of Ohio, ending a decade-long dispute over an illegally taped telephone call.
