Manager of Lorain strip club indicted
NorthCoastNOW
ELYRIA — The manager of a troubled strip club was indicted Thursday in connection to a Dec. 14 stabbing.
But the grand jury isn’t saying Kanstantinos G. Mihas, 56, of Lakewood, was holding the knife when a woman was cut in the face at Glitter Nite Club.
Instead, Mihas was charged with disrupting public services for allegedly cutting short the woman’s 911 call, court documents said.
County sheriff’s deputies said Mihas had told the woman not to call police or paramedics.
On Monday, county officials filed suit against the bikini bar in hopes of either cleaning it up or shutting it down. The complaint listed ongoing problems at Mihas’ bar, including public urination, fights and lap dances that allegedly go too far.
Mihas was cited Jan. 25 for public indecency, solicitation and underage alcohol sales after an undercover agent for the Ohio Department of Public Safety spent time at Glitter Nite Club.
The agent said that while there, he paid a dancer $10 and she exposed herself and performed oral sex on him through his pants.
