Saturday, Sept. 1
8:56 p.m. – Avon police station, a male caller in Avon, Ind., was incorrectly dispatched to the police station in Avon when he tried to report hearing gun shots outside a Wendy’s restaurant.

Sunday, Sept. 2
10:16 p.m. – 36900 block Detroit Road, a male attempted to take an air conditioning unit from a home he shared with a live-in female after they had an altercation.

Wednesday, Aug. 29
8:02 a.m. – 100 block Moore Road, a principal at Westview Elementary told police that he suspected a custodian threw a rock on his car.

Monday, Sept. 3
10:26 a.m. – Walker Road, a woman told police that a suspicious male, holding what appeared to be a weapon, was sitting on a minivan. Police located the male, and determined he was using a scope for bird watching.

Tuesday, Sept. 4
10:37 p.m. – 32700 block Walker Road, police responded to a suspicious condition after a resident reported seeing a “vagrant with a ukulele” playing music outside a building.
