The weather is looking up for local fireworks activities Tuesday night.
Possible showers predicted for this evening appear to be passing by the area.
Temperatures for tonight will hover above 70 degrees with partly cloudy skies and an easterly breeze blowing at 6 mph.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected for the Fourth of July.
